  1. My favourite way of saying that is ‘If you don’t like it, change it and if you can’t change it change the way you think about it’. It is, of course, easier said than done, but when you get your head around it and widen out your perspective, your world changes! Having someone to talk the options through with you helps. Which is what mothers, sisters and friends are for. 🙂

    1. I agree, Pauline – sometimes what we need is a trusted different perspective to put things in a proper perspective. Or as some long-ago author said: “Don’t sweat the small stuff!”

    1. Agreed on the difficulty level! I like Pauline’s take on it – sometimes talking it out with one who comes from a different and trusted perspective can help broaden our view of any given issue.
