5 More Good Things About Being Over 50
Here is Part Two of our continuing list of Good Things About Being Over 50. (Click HERE if you missed the first five!)
1. We know how to delegate.
2. We not only know how to handle our moods, we can help others deal with them, too.
3. We can appreciate the benefits of short-term memory loss.
4. We have no guilt about not trying that interesting-looking recipe that we know our family would love.
5. We have realistic expectations.
Ha! That made me laugh out loud! It’s good to laugh when you are over 50 also…….lol
I so agree, Noreen – I think our sense of humor is often our greatest asset! Sure makes life easier! -El
Regarding #3: Or, as Lisa always says, “…I could hide my own Easter eggs.”
Hahaha – I should write that down for Easter (because you know I won’t remember it until then!) -El
If I can remember to share this (see #3), I’m going to. I’m grateful for all five.
Just sending a reminder to share, Kim. (Did that help??) -El
Not yet because I forgot to read your comment. 🙂 Now’s a good time if I can remember by the time I close this. Thanks for the giggles.
I’m still working on #1, so thanks for the reminder. They are all perfect!
Glad to be of assistance, Gina! Are you talking about working on delegation or procrastination? Because if it’s the latter, I can really help with that one!! -El
Delegating. I’m really really good at procrastinating.
I’m not as much help on that one, my friend! -El
I liked them all! Made me laugh at how true they are 🙂
I guess we should add ‘self-recognition’ to the list – the universal “me, too!”
